The Highlands Brass Academy is set in the village of Minden, Ontario, Canada, 225km
North East of Toronto. The Haliburton Highlands are located in a picturesque part of Ontario
full of lakes, hills and woods. This makes the region perfect for summer cottage getaways from the
city.
The HBA does not provide transportation or shuttle service to get to Minden. There are
bus services to the area for those without a vehicle:
- Can-AR Coach - follow the "Schedule Services" link, leaves from downtown Toronto
- Greyhound - leaves from Scarborough Town Centre; transfers to Can-AR in Oshawa
Participants travelling by bus will need to arrive Friday the 6th and leave Sunday the 15th
because of the once-daily service of the bus lines.

The HBA also makes a great reason to create a vacation for you and your family. Apart from the
usual cottage and lake fun, August includes many activities for the whole family, including
the Studio Tour and performances from the Highlands Summer Festival and Highlands Opera Studio.
